39 Weeks!

Okay so I'm not going to bother with my normal survey, mostly because there isn't a lot of change. Yes, I'm in maternity clothes, yes he is moving a lot. I only gained 1 more pound, so I have tapped out at 49lbs total since I doubt I will gain a pound between today and Thursday. I'm not concerned with this weight gain, it'll come off when this is all over! I was only at 1cm when my Dr started to check me today, she was saying "oh, still 1cm, your cervix is really low and forward which is great... make that 2cm now". She laughed cuz she kinda forced it a bit. This is fine though, I've had more cramping today than my last two internals, but the further along I am tomorrow the better.

Speaking of tomorrow... here is the plan. We check in to the hospital at 730pm. They will give me some cervical ripening stuff and then later that night I can have a sleeping pill to get some rest. Dr wants to make sure I sleep tomorrow. Then bright and early Thursday she will come in and break my water and we will start pitocin. So it should be sometime on Thursday. Yippie! I'm soo beyond excited. I'm nervous too though.

We made some last minute baby purchases today, had to get baby Tylenol drops, Vaseline and gauze for his healing circumcision, and then umm we bought something I just fell in love with. I wanted a swing, but they are expensive and we don't have money sitting around to spare. So I had nothing to put him in other than the boppy pillow, the pack n play and crib. SOO... we bought a bouncer! It is soo super cute and was only 27 bucks, full price. I was thrilled... I have to share a picture because I had only seen bright and rainbow colored ones, which isn't us. Everything we have is muted and blues and browns and greens... so this was perfect! NOW we really are ready for baby! Here it is...

Now we are going to do some last minute cleaning tonight/tomorrow. I need to repack our hospital bag (and add our bathroom stuff tomorrow) and then we just wait. I may come onto the blog tomorrow, perhaps even from the hospital if I can't sleep, but my next BIG post after tonight will be with pictures of baby Aiden!
