3.) Tell why you are ecstatic "The one that got away" got away.
Duh! I am ecstatic he got away because I would never have met my husband! I dated this guy for a couple months, never really gave him a chance cuz I was dating someone else too (this was in college) and then I dumped him. He was rich, in law school, everyone thought he was perfect. I started worrying that I shouldn't have let him go. We talked off and on for years, then I saw him in Dec 2008 for a little rondevu (sp?) and he was kind of an ass. That money and being a lawyer had gone to his head the last 5 years! I realized it was better he wasn't around and then the next month I met my now husband. That's how life works. Gotta have some closure before you can open up to someone else.

I completely agree! I'm so thankful that things didn't work out with the guys in my past, no matter how much it hurt me then, because I'm so glad I got to fall in love with my hubby! And I'm glad you ended up with yours!
I am so thankful God has a plan for our life!! And so happy for you that you ended up with the right man :)
I liked your last sentence, "Gotta have some closure before you can open up to someone else." So true. Glad it worked out for you!
