Wow, after several years ive decided to try and resurrect this little blog of mine. I recently told a friend I missed having a place to write. Then out of nowhere a blog "challenge" if you will came about on a public group im in. So here I am and I'm going to try and keep this thing going. Bare with me as I make changes and update content. Feel free to sift through my old posts, you just might learn something new about me....
This week I tried my hand at something new. A little purse. The Buttercup Purse by
Made By Rae. It's a free online pattern too, I just love when people are willing to share such greatness without making me pay for it.
I made one and loved how simple it was, so I made another and plan to make many more for gifts! My mom saw it and stole the first purse, glad it found a home, she's been getting compliments on it all day!
First time doing pleats and I must say they were a cinch! Love them!

I have made a wallet for the MIL in the Meadowsweet fabric and she loves it so much. NOW. She wants some of it on her glass case;)

I think those are lovely and you would never be able to tell you hadn't made a purse before.
