Sunday Donut Anyone?

There is never anything good on TV on Sunday's. Seriously, tv sucks. And yes, I could find something else to be doing, but I love lounging and eating my breakfast on Sunday's because I can! So I finally found a show, which I've seen twice already, and got sucked in AGAIN.

Travel Channel's Donut Paradise!
Now, my favorite donut is a french cruller. This is the second image from the top for those of you not familiar with it's goodness. I personally like when it's topped with chocolate best, but this picture made it look soo yummy. My second favorite donut would have to be a plain chocolate bar. You just can't beat an original like that. My husband is a maple bar fan, but to me maple is just TOO sweet for me to enjoy for breakfast. I'll stick with my chocolate thank you!
The show made me want a donut really badly, hence my writing about them while I eat oatmeal and toast. The show even mentioned a local doughnut shop called Voodoo Doughnut. Let me tell you a bit about Voodoo Doughnuts. I've never been there, but it's here in Portland and they are very umm, unique. I posted a picture below (the big one) of some of their creations. They have a bacon maple bar, which I'm sure my husband would love. They have doughnuts made with all sorts of goodies like cap'n crunch, fruit loops, cocoa puffs. They have doughnuts flavored after Elvis (think peanut butter and banana), they have orange and creme, they have the Grape Ape, and the Arnold Palmer. Interesting yeah? Well, I one day will make it to this place and try one, but I'm a bit afraid of which I'd try! lol
So this leads me to you - my fellow bloggers. What kind of donut do YOU like?
