This week I started a new spring quilt. It's with Central Park by Kate Spain for Moda. Oh how I love it. It's soo bright and cheery, really makes the sun come out! I have a general layout in mind, I will finish up the 3rd square outline, then want to add a thin yellow brick border and then a thicker orange pattern border. Not sure which fabric to use for the back yet. It will be bound in simple white though. Here is what I have going on and my inspiration for the 2 boarder idea.
UPDATE UPDATE
Wow, after several years ive decided to try and resurrect this little blog of mine. I recently told a friend I missed having a place to write. Then out of nowhere a blog "challenge" if you will came about on a public group im in. So here I am and I'm going to try and keep this thing going. Bare with me as I make changes and update content. Feel free to sift through my old posts, you just might learn something new about me....

That is going to be beautiful!! I wish I could sew :)
I love it! I am a VERY novice "sewer" (??). But really want to make a bridal quiclt for my sister. I plan on having a combo of plain squares and some signed with a fabric pen by guests at her shower. I think she would LOVE the patterns and colours shown here, where could I find that?
This is incredibly crafty and cute of you! Seriously, I wish I were so ambitious!
I love the birthday ideas... we are probably going to take your advice with inviting some close fam/friends along for a day of our trip;) Thanks lady!
