Okay folks, I feel like we can be honest with each other. I feel like it's time I share a little bit more of myself with all of you. Allow me to share my eyebrows.
(disclaimer: these are not my real eyebrows, I hope you know my face isn't really yellow)
Left eyebrow meet right eyebrow! You two haven't seen each other soo close in a long time, probably since you were originally seperated. Now here we are, slowly migrating together once again. I have not plucked my eyebrows since I was in Tori's wedding, November 7th, 2009. Yep, it's now been about 5 months. I keep starting to pluck them but after just a couple minutes I'm tired and realize that it will take me much longer to get the job done. Plus it's been soo long that I forgot the sting of plucking. It's not too bad of course, but when you have soo many hairs to pluck after a few hairs it hurts!
I've considered spending the money to get them
ripped off my face waxed and manicured by some professional. I am sure it will be quick and I can handle the pain, I mean 2 minutes of pain seems like nothing comapred to childbirth and healing from a c-section. The thing that keeps stopping me is the idea of having red and swollen eyebrows. Sure it can't look any worse than the current state of my eyebrows, but it really does freak me out. I know there are fancier ways of going about this - threading for one. I just don't have the $ for fancy solutions though. So it's either I pluck them myself or I pay someone to wax them for me.
Maybe in another 5 months I'll have finally taken care of this bushy problem of mine. Don't you feel closer to me already? I told you I was knocking on frumpy's door.

I feel so much closer to you after this post haha. I've gone both the plucking and waxing path, and waxing is a lot faster. Just find somewhere that is good or else you might end up with no eyebrows! Go off of recommendations from people who have already been there. Seriously, plucking takes too long for me haha, but it's free, so I take the good with the bad most of the time.
But I understand, sometimes the craziness of life gets in the way and things slip to the wayside, and for me as well its usually the eyebrows that go first!
It just makes you feel so much better when it's done... I need mine done too!

Hey from SITS!
If it makes you feel any better I am nearing 40 and have only recently begun plucking. I now regret it. Yeah, they look better but the upkeep is tough with 2 little kids running around!
