So we had no reaction to rice cereal, oatmeal (he loves oatmeal) or sweet potatoes. We tried carrots yesterday and he cried for Kris. He ate them last night but I wasn't sure he liked it much. This morning he had them again and is now getting red spots and scratching at his face. His ear is red too and he keeps scratching it, not just pulling on it. Kris is allergic to a lot of fruits and a few veggies like carrots and celery. He still eats the veggies, they cause a small reaction for him compared to the itchy mouth that fruits cause him. So I think we are going to hold off on the carrots. I just really hope he doesn't have fruit allergies, mommy loves fruits, but Kris can only eat strawberries and pineapple. Time will tell.
Last night I found a link to making your own baby legs. They are basically leg warmers for babies. They are super cute, but well, too expensive for me to consider buying. So I found out how to make my own, and did! I made 2 pair last night and have like 4 more ready to be sewn when Aiden isn't napping in the same room as my sewing machine. I just used some of my old knee socks, it took like 5 minutes. I have a bunch of old holiday knee socks, valentine's day's and shamrocks for st. patty's! Those will be cute, I'll post pictures of them on him come the holidays.

Those baby legs are so cute!
Aww poor babe. No carrots for him :(
He looks so cute in the baby legs!
Way cute baby legs! :) I desperately need a sewing machine - it's something that I used to love to do, and I just haven't done it in forever.
Sorry to hear about the carrot reaction. :( Have you tried sweet potatoes instead?
Those baby legs are cute! Thanks for the tip...gonna try that out now
I know this post is REALLY old, I found it googling "homemade baby legs," and was intrigued by the bad reaction to carrots. My son (4 now) is allergic to carrots, he gets a terrible rash, and I'd never heard of anyone else ... Just had to share :)
